Robert Bosch GmbH is a German multinational and a global leader in the production of automotive components. The company collaborates with nearly all car manufacturers worldwide.
92% of the company is owned by the Robert Bosch Stiftung, a public-benefit foundation, which directs most of the profits toward research and development or humanitarian initiatives.
In 2018, the company had 85 locations in Germany with around 139,400 employees, while globally — thanks to approximately 460 subsidiaries across 60 countries — it employed over 409,900 people. In the same year, Bosch recorded a record revenue of €78.5 billion.
Bosch is also a member of the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI).
