In 1998, at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, a young animation student, Adam Burton, presented a two-minute animated short for his thesis.
The short was titled Billy & Mandy in Trepanation of the Skull and You.
Burton, now better known by the pseudonym Maxwell Atoms, has become a well-known American animator, famous for The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy.
